GUG Awards | Prix Mieux grandir
On Monday, November 23, the Ottawa Child and Youth Initiative hosted the 5th annual Growing Up Great Awards ceremony to celebrate the people, programs and organizations in our community that work hard to make a difference in the lives of children, youth and their families, and who have demonstrated their commitment to making sure children and youth in Ottawa achieve their full potential.
Over 120 people were in attendance for the awards luncheon, hosted by CBC Ottawa’s Hallie Cotnam. Eight special awards were given out to individuals and organizations in Ottawa who are helping children in the community to grow up great.

Ce lundi, 23 novembre, l'Initiative pour les enfants et les jeunes d'Ottawa a animé la quatrième cérémonie annuelle des Prix Mieux grandir. Cette cérémonie reconnaît les personnes, programmes et organisations dans notre communauté qui travaillent fort pour affecter une différence dans la vie des enfants, des jeunes et de leurs familles, et qui ont démontré un engagement exceptionnel à assurer que les enfants et les jeunes d'Ottawa peuvent réaliser leur plein potentiel.
Au-delà de 120 personnes ont assisté au dîner de remise des prix, animé par Hallie Cotnam de CBC Ottawa. Huit prix spéciaux ont été remis à des individus et des organisations locaux qui ont fait un travail remarquable cette année envers le but de voir nos enfants mieux grandir.
